    2. GC23-040, 4910 N. High St. The applicant seeks graphics variances to add a ground sign and menu board signs for a new fast food restaurant, specifically from:
      1. 3372.706(C)(1), to allow for three ground signs (A1, A2, and A3) on a single parcel;
      2. 3372.706(C)(2), to allow for one monument sign (A3) and two ground signs (A1 and A2);
      3. 3372.706(C)(3), to allow for two ground signs (A2 and A3) that do not have a base that is integral to the overall sign design and that compliments the design and principal materials of the building and landscape;
      4. 3372.706(C)(5), to increase the maximum permitted height of a ground sign from 6’ above grade to 23’8” for sign A2 (existing condition); and

District 9 – Drew Miller – 29 votes

The District 2 election was uncontested and Gregory Nutter was declared the winner.

Today is the day! Residents of CAC Districts 1, 2, and 9 can cast their vote in the CAC election. Please note District 2 is uncontested. Voters must present photo identification and evidence of place of residence and age OR a signed statement that they are 18 years of age or older and currently reside at a stated address within the election district.

Clintonville Area Commission Election Day is Saturday, August 26, 2023.

Seats are open for Districts 1, 2 and 9.  The deadline to qualify as a petition candidate has passed.  However, there is still time to run as a write-in candidate!

  • Those interested in being a write-in candidate are encouraged to attend a Write-In Candidate Orientation Meeting at the Whetstone Library, 3909 North High St., Columbus, OH 43214, on Monday, July 17, 2023, from 6:30 – 7:30 pm.
  • Election Committee Chair Melissa Doll will be available to provide an overview of the 2023 Election process and answer any questions you may have. The Write-in Candidate Orientation Meeting is optional but strongly encouraged.

Candidate Petition Packets (which include the write-in candidate documentation) are available for pick up at the Front Desk of Whetstone Library, 3909 North High St., Columbus, OH 43214.
