Many great neighbors came out for the Whetstone Prairie Restore April 13th! It was a beautiful morning over 100 neighbors, families with kids, OSU students from the Capstone program, area employers AND Recreation and Parks staff worked on restoration project ! The work went quickly as we seeded the prairie, added native plants around vernal ponds. 130 trees were planted in zone 4 (the reforest area). Volunteers also removed trash, plastics from Adena Brook! With the donation from Green Columbus we gave away over 50 free trees on site!! Thank you to all!
