Clintonville Area Commission Election Notice – Election Day is August 23, 2025

The 2025 CAC election will take place on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 10 am – 2 pm, at Whetstone Library, 3909 N. Hight St., Columbus OH 43214. Early voting is scheduled for Tuesday, August 19, 2025, from 6 pm – 8 pm, also at Whetstone Library.
The 2025 CAC Election will include the election for District 3. The following candidates have been certified to appear on the ballot:
Tom Albanese – Tom Albanese CAC Candidate Statement
Will Klatt
Joel Ronschke
Jordan Ticknor – Jordan Ticknor District 3 Candidate Statement
Voters must present photo identification and evidence of place of residence in District 3 and age OR a signed statement that they are 18 years of age or older and currently reside at a stated address within District 3.
The boundaries for District 3 are:
District 3: Bounded on the south by the center line of Weber Road, on the east by the railroad tracks just east of Indianola, on the north by the center line of Oakland Park Avenue, and on the west by the center line of High Street.
The elections for Districts 2 (Special Election), 6, and 8 have been cancelled because each of these districts had one certified petition candidate and no write-in candidate. Under the CAC Election Rules, if there is only one certified petition candidate for a single district, and there are no write-in candidates for that district, the petition candidate will be declared the winner. The winners of Districts 2 (Special Election), 6, and 8 are:
District 2: Brenda Arnold (16-month term beginning September 2025)
District 6: Mark Moritz
District 8: Joshua Hively
