Martin Luther King Day is Monday January 15th. Numerous events in honor of Dr King around town on Monday Including special events at the convenient Ohio History Center- a nice place to spend educational time with kids on a cold Monday! Here is a link:

Emmanuel Remy of the Northland Community Council was selected to join Columbus City Council to complete the unexpired term of Zach Klein, who is the new City Attorney.

Note the Meet the New Councilmember Council Community Meeting on January 27th from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Dodge Recreation Center, 667 Sullivant Ave, Columbus, OH 43215, in the Multi-Purpose Room. This event is open to the public.

There will be a new round of UIRF (urban infrastructure recovery fund) monies available for community projects. If you’d like to join in the discussion please attend the next CAC Planning and Development Meeting on January 23rd, 7 pm at the Clinton Hts Lutheran Church.
