September 5th- Zoning & Variance Committee Meeting- 7:30 pm


  1. The Zoning and Variance Committee will meet on Tuesday, September 5, 2017, 7:30 p.m., at the Clinton Heights Lutheran Church, 15 Clinton Heights Ave. A draft of the agenda is below. All notice and open meeting rules will be followed, but because the agenda includes only a routinely-granted request (increasing the permitted height of a garage from 15′ to 17′), unless objections are received, the Committee Chair may inform the applicants that they do not need to personally attend the meeting.
  2. If needed, the next meeting of the Zoning and Variance Committee will be on Tuesday, October 3, 2017, 7:30 p.m., at the Clinton Heights Lutheran Church, 15 Clinton Heights Ave.

    1. If needed, the next meeting will be on October 3, 2017.
    2. Since the last meeting, no waiver has been issued for the waiting period to demolish a residential garage.
  5. Variance Agenda.
    1. Application: 217 Brevoort Rd. Variance to increase the maximum height of a garage by 2’—from 15′ to 17’. City Code Section 3332.38(G). The key parts of the application are hereDistrict 4. 
  6. Adjournment.

After consideration by the Committee on September 5, 2017, the application will likely be heard by the Clintonville Area Commission on September 7, 2017. The CAC meeting starts at 7:00 at the Whetstone Library.
