Howdy Neighbors—

I grew up on Walhalla and have lived in Clintonville for nearly 30 years. I’m passionate about bringing people together to solve practical problems, strengthen local democracy, and keep Clintonville the welcoming, creative, and connected neighborhood we all love.

Professionally, I work with educators to improve workplace culture, communication, and fair, sustainable systems that support students, teachers, and the broader community. Outside of work, I’m active in neighborhood civic life—organizing community initiatives, helping residents navigate local government, and advocating for more open, competitive, and representative public institutions. I believe strong neighborhoods are built through on-the-ground listening, transparency, and shared ownership of the decisions that shape everyday life—and through celebrating the special culture we’ve built here.

Each year, I help with Squashmas (the Walhalla Bigfoot celebration), along with other family- and kid-centered neighborhood events. I also play banjo with the Klatt Family Hootenanny, love gardening and hanging out with my wife Marla Davis  & children Maylou and MoMo.

I’m committed to building a city where more people feel empowered to lead, collaborate, and make change together.
