Clintonville Neighborhood Plan Implementation: Call for Volunteers

The Planning and Development Committee is seeking volunteers to participate in several new task forces that will begin implementing aspects of the Clintonville Neighborhood Plan.

The Committee is seeking members who will help to address topics including:

  • Street trees: Working with the Columbus City Forester, the CAC, and neighbors to identify opportunities to increase the number of trees on public and private streets.

  • Share the Road: Identifying opportunities to increase public awareness and public education about bicycle and automobiles sharing selected streets in Clintonville.

  • Ravine Restoration: Work with several organizations to restore ravine areas using practical ecological methods. Plan for proper management in the future through the use of rain gardens and public education.

  • Planted Medians: Consider planted medians at locations along High Street and Indianola Avenue.

The Planning & Development Committee meets on the third Thursday of every month at 6:30 P.M. at the Whetstone Recreation Center. Check at the information desk for the meeting room.

For more information or to volunteer for a task force, please contact Nick Cipiti at 614.267.1302 or at njac@msn.com.

The CAC is very proud of the Clintonville Neighborhood Plan and welcomes all neighbors to provide feedback, volunteer their time, and assist in its implementation.
